Shipston Food bank has been running in the town for about 10 years, using St Edmund’s as a distribution and storage point.
Since the coronavirus crisis, we will only be open on Saturday mornings between 10:30 and 12. The Foodbank is run entirely by volunteers from the town, both behind the scenes through the week and when we’re open.
Donations can be left in both Co ops, in Tesco or the porch of St Edmund’s on any day.
Shipston town continues to be very generous with donations of food, money and time and we wouldn’t be able to run without them.
Anyone who finds themselves in need of a little help at the moment can come along on Saturday mornings. There’s no need for a referral or a voucher. We fill up bags of basic foodstuffs and then, depending on what people need, will add in extras like nappies, toiletries and fresh veg when we have it.
