As well as helping out with food poverty, the Food Bank is able to point people to other places that might help with things like benefits and housing and we also have access to a trained worker who’ll give help with budgeting and debt. Some people pop in for food and stay for a chat as well – we’re becoming a busy place.
This week we’re short of long-life milk, biscuits, milk, cereal (not porridge), puddings (e.g. custard, rice pudding, microwave long life sponges) and laundry products (tabs, liquid or powder). You can donate in the Co-op or by popping things in the church porch on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
Thank you!
